On Thursday, May 20, the Providence Country Club (PCC) hosted Glimmers of Hope, a fundraiser for Levine Children’s Hospital. The event, which was presented by Keffer Hyundai, featured a tennis tournament, croquet matches, a champagne luncheon, fashion show, and silent and live auctions at the clubhouse.

Six-year-old Rachel Page, the daughter of a fellow club member who was treated for leukemia at Levine Children’s Hospital, served as the inspiration for event organizers in selecting LCH as the beneficiary for both 2010 and 2011. After a long, but fun day of activities at the club, Glimmers of Hope raised $27,000. This total will be matched by the Leon Levine Foundation to create an endowment to support pediatric cancer research.

Thanks to Keffer Hyundai and PCC for providing hope for children in the Carolinas!
