FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) students at Ardrey Kell High School achieved tremendous success through their recent fundraiser for Levine Children's Hospital (LCH). Inspired by one of the strongest young girls they know - 5-year-old cancer patient Rachel Page - the group created a boutique in their school library and sold gently used prom dresses, shoes, and jewelry. Rachel is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is currently being treated at Levine Children's Hospital. Her older sister, Sara, used to attend Ardrey Kell.

Classmates, staff, and members of the community flocked to "Rachel's Boutique" to shop for donated items. After the three-day sale, the group had raised over $9,500 for Levine Children's Hospital, an affiliate of Children's Miracle Network (CMN). FCCLA is a new national sponsor of CMN and is partnering locally with LCH to raise awareness and funds for the hospital.
