The Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation is a not-for-profit organization named in honor of pediatric cancer survivor, Adam Tanksley, who was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Wilms’ Tumor – a rare childhood cancer of the kidney – just weeks prior to his fourth birthday.  This group has joined forces with seven other philanthropic organizations to create the “Carolina Kids Cancer Research Coalition,” which is providing funding for the introduction of Level I and Level II clinical trials by the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Center at Levine Children’s Hospital.
