We invite you to bring the entire family out to the 3rd Annual Adam Fest. Together we can chomp childhood cancer!  This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th at Ballantyne Corporate Park (Johnston Road & Ballantyne Commons).  Don’t miss out on loads of fun activities including carnival rides and games, live entertainment, karate demos, arts & crafts and more! 

Tickets are $5 on the day of the event* and children five and under get in free of charge. Free admission will also be given to individuals who donate blood to the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas. 

The Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation is a not-for-profit organization named in honor of pediatric cancer survivor, Adam Tanksley, who was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Wilms’ Tumor – a rare childhood cancer of the kidney – just weeks prior to his fourth birthday.  Proceeds from Adam Fest will benefit the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation – an authorized partner of Levine Children’s Hospital and member of The Carolinas Kids Cancer Research Coalition.

The Carolinas Kids Cancer Research Coalition consists of eight of the region’s most dedicated nonprofit organizations committed to supporting pediatric cancer research and services at Levine Children’s Hospital. The Coalition’s initial endowment commitment of $5.7 million to Levine Children’s Hospital will support the development of Phase I and Phase II clinical trials. Through fundraising, education, and awareness, the Coalition is dedicated to ensuring children throughout the region receive the latest cancer treatments, close to home.
